John Cross – Mr. Cross is co-founder of, and previously Chair of, Philom Bios Inc., a Saskatoon-based developer, manufacturer and marketer of novel inoculants.

Ryan Mercer – Mr. Mercer’s family has been farming in the Southern Alberta area since 1974. Ryan is the President in Mercer Seeds Ltd., a local seed cleaning and seed distributor. Ryan is also director on the Alberta Seed Growers Association. Ryan and his wife Annette are also the recipients of the 2010 Alberta Outstanding Young Farmer’s Award.  

Larry McNamara – Mr. McNamara is the former President and CEO of Canbra Foods, a Lethbridge-based oilseed processing and manufacturing company.  Mr. McNamara also established an expeller oilseed pressed plant in Ste. Agathe, Manitoba.

Steve Petherick – Mr. Petherick has worked for a multi-national Japanese trading company called Mitsui & Co. for 20 years; he has developed business in more than a dozen countries.  As General Manager, his department’s portfolio included more then 30 different products and services totaling more the $100 million in FOB sales.  He also was directly involved introducing numerous outside companies to Mitsui for capital investment.   He has served on the board of directors of the following companies, Mitsui Lifestyle, Full90 Sports, Portac and RF-Code.
